Suffe filmuitspraken onderzocht...
De uitroep van Leonardo DiCaprio op de voorsteven van de Titanic, "I'm the king of the world!", is de meest suffe zin uit de filmhistorie. Dat meldt Ananova op basis van een enquete onder tweeduizend filmbezoekers. DiCaprio schreeuwt de woorden met zijn armen gespreid in een romantisch moment met zijn tegenspeelster Kate Winslet...
Volgens de ondervraagden is een uitspraak van Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing goed voor een tweede plaats. "Nobody puts Baby in the corner", zegt hij in de film tegen zijn geliefde, Jennifer Grey. Een citaat uit Four Weddings And A Funeral staat op drie met "Is it still raining? I hadn't noticed." Swayze is ook betrokken bij de vierde notering in de lijst, in de film Ghost. Daar zegt hij "I love you" tegen Demi Moore, waarop Moore antwoordt: "Ditto."
Lager in de top-tien staan citaten uit films als Top Gun, "You can be my wingman anytime", Braveheart, "They may take our lives..." en The Postman, "You're a godsend, a saviour." "No, I'm a postman."
Waar mensen tegenwoordig al geen tijd voor hebben...
